HACG and A+ Driving School have a working partnership that allows our residents to: receive formal driving training that helps them learn the rules of the road, driving concepts, and road signage and prepares them to take the written and practical portion of the driver's license exam with the DMV.
Classes are held every other Thursday in person for all HACG residents and those in the general public who are age 18 and older and are no longer in high school.
A+ offers for our residents at a discounted rate, driving lessons for those that may not have access to a vehicle when they take the road portion of the driver's license test at the DMV. We have seen several successes as a result. We've had about 100 attendees; numerous residents have received their licenses and purchased their first vehicles.
Visit our website calendar for upcoming class dates, or contact Resident Services at 919.735.4226 ext. 1301 for additional information.
